How AI Lead Scoring Works in LeadLock AI

Not all leads are equal. LeadLock AI's lead scoring engine automatically rates every lead from 0 to 100 based on five scoring categories. High-scoring leads get more attention; low-scoring leads get nurtured. The score updates every time the lead is created or updated—no manual tagging required.

The 5 scoring categories

Each lead is scored across five dimensions. The total adds up to a maximum of 100 points.

  • Data completeness (0–25 pts): Has name, email, phone, company? More data = higher score
  • Engagement signals (0–30 pts): Message length, conversations, notes, activity count
  • Source quality (0–20 pts): Chat and SMS leads score higher than imports or manual entries
  • Recency (0–15 pts): Leads created today score higher; scheduled follow-ups add points
  • Business signals (0–10 pts): Company name, estimated deal value, service requested

Score labels

Based on the total score, each lead gets a label that's visible on the pipeline, leads list, and lead detail page.

  • 65–100: High intent (green badge) — prioritize these leads
  • 35–64: Medium intent (amber badge) — nurture and qualify
  • 0–34: Low intent (gray badge) — automated follow-up or deprioritize

Where you see the score

Scores appear throughout the CRM so your team can prioritize at a glance.

  • Pipeline view: AI score badge on every lead card
  • Lead detail page: intent label and score in the header
  • Dashboard: leads by intent chart (high/medium/low breakdown)
  • Analytics: intent distribution across your pipeline

How scoring improves over time

As you add notes, have conversations, and book appointments, the engagement signals increase—which raises the score. A lead that starts at 30 (low) can climb to 70+ (high) after a few quality interactions.

Pro tip
Use the score to automate: trigger an SMS follow-up when a lead scores above 60, or assign a task to call any lead scoring 80+.
