How do I install the chat widget?

1. In CRM → Settings (or Integrations), find the Chat widget section. 2. Copy the embed code or script URL. 3. Paste it before </body> on your website (or in your template), or add via Google Tag Manager. 4. Publish the site. The chat bubble appears; visitors can message and become leads.

Where do I get the chat widget code?

CRM → Settings → Integrations (or Chat / Widget). You’ll see an embed snippet or a script URL. Copy it and add it to every page where you want the widget, or to your global footer/header.

How do chat leads get created?

When a visitor sends a message (and optionally provides name/email/phone), LeadLock creates a lead. The lead source is usually “chat” or “chat widget.” The conversation appears in Inbox and on the lead’s activity timeline.

Can the chat widget answer questions automatically?

Yes. Configure an AI agent (CRM → AI Agents) and connect it to the chat channel. The agent can answer FAQs, qualify leads, and offer booking. You can still take over in the Inbox for human replies.

How do I customize the chat widget?

In Settings where the widget is configured, you may find options for color, position, greeting message, and required fields. Change and save; the updated widget loads on the next page load.

Troubleshooting: Widget not loading or leads not created

Widget not loading: Confirm the script is on the page (view source). Check the browser console for JavaScript errors. Ensure the script loads after the DOM. Try a hard refresh. Leads not created: Confirm the widget is connected to your account. Check that the visitor sent a message (and any required fields). Look in Leads and Inbox for the new lead and conversation.
